I promise this will be the last update (please let this be!) regarding my ISBN drama. So, BookBaby filled out the form they needed to regarding giving IngramSpark permission to use the ISBN number they provided for me. Once IngramSpark gets that info into its system, I’ll be able to upload my book and get it back into the world (on Ingram and bookshop.org) where it belongs. What a mess! 😵‍💫🫠📚👽

I’m hoping it won’t mess with my current Amazon listing. There is an option to NOT have IngramSpark distribute to Amazon, and I’m hoping that’s the case, unless they do a better job of making my book actually available… which, right now, is constantly showing “Temporarily out of stock”. It’s crazy how thorough I’m being about distribution and how hard they make it for indie authors to distribute their books. 😭

In other news, I entered my book into the Story Trade Book Awards, which would be the 8th book award contest I’ve entered, and hopefully will be 12 by the end of the year! I don’t know why I am setting myself up for this much rejection, but being an artist, writer, and voice actor… It’s almost unavoidable! Wish me luck! More soon… as always. xo, Linda

This’ll be number eight… final amount, possibly 12 this year! Why am I doing this to myself? Don’t I already experience enough rejection? 🤣 🤪 #indieauthors #booktok #bookawards #selfpublishing #impostersyndrome
