Book cover of 'The Dreamer,' the first installment in The Black Stone Cycle by Linda Patricia Cleary. Two characters are depicted, one with brown hair in a blue suit and another with blue skin and a hooded cloak, both reaching towards a glowing orb between them.

I found out at 9:30 PM, sitting on the runway on a plane last night, that The Dreamer won another book award! It won a FIRST PLACE YA Science-Fiction Award through The BookFest! It’s been so exciting to win these awards. A couple of them I received through signing up for reviews, so the award was just a plus!

A gold award seal with the text 'The BookFest® Award Winner' surrounded by laurel leaves and five stars.

In other news, I’ll be having my first book signing/reading at Jenny K. in my neighborhood. I just need to figure out the best date in the next few weeks. The one date I had fell on the same day as my daughter’s open house/science fair.

I also have an author’s table at the Bay Area Book Festival on May 30th in downtown Berkeley. Come visit me there if you are in the area!

My books will also be available at Mr. Mopp’s bookshop in Berkeley starting next week as well. Go buy them!

More updates coming soon. Thank you for everything, as always.
